Portable Restroom Requirements

Have you ever been to an event or special occasion and the only available public restroom is a portable restroom? From weddings, to birthday parties, sporting events, community events, and special holidays, there is a required number of portable restrooms based on the size of the event. For every 300 people, one portable restroom is required. For a sports event, there must be once within a quarter mile of the field. For any trail that has more than 2000 hikers per day, there must be one every 3 miles. The need for public restrooms can be easily overlooked until it becomes a necessity at such events or outdoor activities. While public restrooms may not be the first option when attending these type of events, they have provided an opportunity for such events and outdoor activities to be easily enjoyed by all persons.
